Midway's 1994 Cruis'n USA sit-down — original V-unit PCBs, force-feedback wheel, bucket seat, LCD monitor upgrade.
Cruis'n USA is Midway's landmark 1994 arcade racing game, developed under license from Nintendo and powered by the proprietary Midway V-unit hardware. Designed by Eugene Jarvis, it sends a single driver across ten point-to-point courses spanning the continental United States, from the California coast to the White House lawn. Players use a force-feedback steering wheel, gas and brake pedals, a 4-speed shifter, three camera-angle selectors, and a Radio button to cycle in-game music — all staples of the immersive sit-down experience that made this title an arcade staple of the mid-90s. This single sit-down unit presents well, with sharp, colorful side and cabinet art showing only minor edge scuffing typical of a route machine. The original Midway V-unit PCBs are confirmed present with correct ROM labels. The stock CRT has been replaced with an LCD, giving a clean, bright picture. The red dashboard control panel, force-feedback steering wheel, bucket seat, and pedal assembly are all intact. A great centerpiece racer for a home game room, bar, or retro arcade operator.
